What Am I Doing Wrong?
I guess I should have added that info!!

I'm 176lbs at 5'2", female, 21 years old, and work a desk job from 9-5 then have evenings to myself. I play beach volleyball once a week with a co-ed league, and love to bike, but haven't made it something I should be doing daily.

I track EVERYTHING that goes into my mouth on a daily basis, using fat secret. The only thing I don't track is the water I'm drinking, as I have a separate counter on my phone.

If I ate 2200 cals a day, I'd be back up to 200lbs in literally a week. I have gotten my thyroid checked and all came back normal. I'd like to have a 1000 cal deficit a day at the very minimum. Preferably I'd like to lose 2-3lbs a week.

I will say I'm not totally buying into this doc, and don't entirely like her. I CAN eat a decent amount of food for 1000 cals, but I'm finding ALL I think about all day is FOOOOOOOD.

I guess I really just need some insight on what I'm doing wrong. I am happy to try my maintenance level for 1 week, although I'm not sure what that would be? Thanks for the help!

What Am I Doing Wrong?
I'm having one of those frustration days, and I'm thinking perhaps this whole thing could be something I'm not doing right after all.

I've been yoyoing right around 177 for about 7 months and I'm SO sick of gaining and losing the same 5 lbs.

I'm FINALLY being true to myself and eating better, I've stuck to trying to make REAL healthy diet choices for over a month now, and I'm so proud of myself. I haven't been following a particular diet, just trying to eat mostly vegetables and lean protein meats. I do breakdown every once in a while and have red meat, but I've been doing so well sticking to chicken, fish, or turkey.

My max cal intake daily is 1000 calories. I'd been working with a nutrition doctor, who wanted me at that, but I'm really starting to wonder if its working, since I've been so stuck at this plateau weight.

I will be honest and say that I don't exercise nearly enough. I'm normally really good about doing something daily for 2-4 days, then I don't do anything for like a week. BUT, regardless, I am consuming way less calories than I use daily, and the weight is just NOT matching up to what I SHOULD be losing.

I purchased the "Biggest Loser: 30 day jump start" book, it should be here this coming Wednesday. I also took a biking plan that is 15 weeks long from the book "Ride your weigh lean" as biking is the ONLY exercise I really truly enjoy and can physically do with out injuring myself (running/walking = horrid shin splints). I am starting that Monday.

I guess I'm really just looking for some insight on what I'm not doing right. I don't drink enough water either, and need to get closer to that 64 oz a day, but I can't imagine thats the issue?

Help!
