Bumpy road... the Super Bowl marked my 2 year anniversary of starting on FS and working off my weight. But this weekend we were off track. Saturday night was the first night in MONTHS that we went out to eat and drink. Had lots and lots of crawfish, no butter on them - so, not too bad. But did have some fried alligator tails and oysters (again, not bad on calories - the oysters, of course the fried stuff was bad...) but drank a lot of my calories...

Sunday, we used our leftovers to make a semi-high calorie etouffee out of the crawfish. It wasn't terrible, just the butter used, maybe 2 tbsp... but I didn't hit my steps either day. I tried but we just were feeling SO lazy this weekend. I suppose it's what we needed. Anyway it's Monday again so I always get renewed, sit on the computer and record my food, and usually have a chance to work out. We'll see how I'm feeling about working out tonight - I'm super sleepy and still have to sit through a 2 hour class from 2-4pm. Then it might be nap time, but I will at least make sure I hit my 10000 steps today. No question. I'm worried that we finally bought groceries and are now eating a lot. I'm trying to tone down my snacking. Ugh. Maybe it's better when we're starving and have no money to buy food, lol - (and no, we're never starving, we own a farm, we ALWAYS have chickens and eggs, lol) - but still. Got to curb my craving. I've been addicted to Honey Bunches of Oats lately. Gotta knock that off!

Well this is just great, I fell off the recording wagon again. It hasn't been a fun ride - I mean, I haven't gained any weight, I've lost some (just a little), and it's my TOM so maybe I'm still up, but - when we start running out of food at the end of the month (and money...), we make all kinds of crazy stuff out of our leftover pantry/fridge items... I mean, seriously, we could be on that show Chopped if the basket contained like "random typical things left in your pantry or fridge that you don't use all the time". But, recording gets tough, and then I don't do it.

Another reason I'm having so many issues is because my phone isn't working correctly,so every time I use Fatsecret on my phone, my phone freaks out, tells me it's got some issue, and then I have to log in EVERY single time to record something. This is a problem when I'm eating, and not around a computer, and don't sit down and type out what I eat.

I seem to do better during the week, I'm usually at a computer during some point of the day at school and when I get home, I usually pick up my computer and will put the food in.

My bf and I decided that one day a month we're going to have a day where we just can eat what we want - just one day. And the day before that, we'll EARN those calories by going on a long hike (or maybe the same day) - I'm already planning on eating an entire pizza, lol. Terrible I know but do you know how long it's been since I've eaten PIZZA!

Okay gotta do some more reading before class... Hope I can get back to my goal relatively soon. Still being active on my pedometer and really, being conscious of what I eat, even though I don't record it, I believe most days I don't go over my normal calories... or at least, I'm not WAY over...
