Still here...still running, and looking to change my diet since running increases my hunger. My food challenges remain the same and I've got good support in getting my head around my challenges.

Training for my 5K run has been very good...a little too good. I plan to run in the Livermore Grapestomp in October and look forward to it. To think, last year I would have never imagined doing this. Now, I'm moving on to thinking about a 10K and beyond. Wow!

Training for the Livermore Grapestomp 5K! Ran with the group on Saturday and led the pack! I was not trying to lead, however, the pace was slower than I'm used to. Up until now I've only worked out on the treadmill...outdoors was wonderful, especially in a group. Saturday was 1.75 miles with next week being 2 miles. Again, different from the treadmill, but felt great.
On ward, upward!

A weekend of wine tasting and fine dining are sure to put on a few pounds! While I've not had the chance to check the scale, I'm sure that's true for me.
No more travel until late September (a black tie event where food and wine will flow like a river...time to practice self control). This week will see me back to running and eating right again!
