it's a rewarding weigh-in for sure because i haven't peeked at the scale all week. i'm so excited!! one more pound and i'll officially have lost ALL of my baby weight from my daughter. WOO HOO!!!! thanks to everyone on this site, i love you all, if i didn't have such encouragement i know i would've petered out by now.
off to a five mile run. MOTIVATION, i love you....

today i ran NINE MILES!!!! aaahhh crazy, right?! i was only supposed to go 8, but i didn't map out my route for mileage beforehand, so i ended up running longer than i needed too. WOW am i exhausted!!!... but it is a good feeling knowing that this coming week, when i am SUPPOSED to do nine, it won't be too much of a problem!!!
also BIG NEWS - today I buttoned and zipped (with NO muffin-top) my $100 lucky brand PRE-PREGNANCY jeans!!!!
YAAAAYYYYY!

OKAY so i went totally off diet yesterday, but per everyone's advice on here, i went ahead and recorded it anyway. 50 POINTS... wow a new high score.. :) (my husband says that's why weight watchers wouldn't work for him.. .he'd always be trying to go for the highest score in points...)
haha. i was out with my sister all day yesterday.. we took the kids to the children's museum in Indy. it was so much fun. they had HUGE dinosaur sculptures and my son just about had a two-year-old heart attack from excitement.
i really don't regret what i ate yesterday. i ENJOYED those french fries (and the pizza too!). it was nice to be able to junk it up for one day.
the rest of June, however, is hardcore sticking to the plan. i've decided to put the scale in an inaccessible place during the week so that i will only get on it on weigh-in day. it's too much of an up and down to let it rule my day. i don't want to be discouraged first thing in the morning if i haven't made the progress "i feel" i should have. i want to be (pleasantly, of course) surprised on weigh-in day!!! i am going to re-read my goals and really set my mind to them. 30 lbs by my daughter's birthday... it means i have 13 pounds to lose in 6 weeks. I CAN DO IT!
anyway, i better go psych myself up about a gym trip. working out does not sound appealing today....
LOVE TO EVERYONE!!! have a fab diet day. :)

aaaaahhhh it's coming off so slow!!!!!!!!!!!.....
....but i'm not going to dwell on it. i'm officially registered for the Air Force Half Marathon in September... and my training will only be increasing, so hopefully will my weight loss. the only problem i've been finding is that the longer runs i do, the more hungry i am all the time. i need to figure something out because i keep going over my points.
ANYWAY, hope everyone as a fab day... i'm going to stick to my points and make this one a winner!

ohmygoodness! i am SO EXCITED right now. i got up this morning and ran SEVEN MILES!!!!! this is such a personal victory for me. i have not run anywhere near that far since i have had children... i think the last time i ran seven miles was 3 1/2 years ago.
wow.
today is going to be a great day!
and i am on my way to being a strong, healthy, fit mommy who is an example to her kids (and able to keep up with them.) :)
HURRAH!
