Hi Everyone!

I put on weight gradually without even noticing sometimes but now I really want to keep track and lose 20 pounds (From around 130 to 110).

I do my best to lead a happy life so I don't take the route of living off celery and water and I'd like to try challenging exercise which is fun too. So far I've tried Zumba but don't know much about anything else so if you do please let me know!

(Btw my weigh-ins show that I've been 130lbs since Dec 17th, not sure how/why cos I didn't realise I even did the weigh-ins, I was actually about 135-138 during December. Anyway, I'm going to try and do weekly weigh-ins from now on.

I'm 21 and in full time post-grad study so don't really have many excuses not to try hard at losing weight so I hope I can find people who will help me stay determined and motivated and we can all help each other out :)

My aims:

- NO biscuits
- NO crisps
(when I get used to having no crisps and biccies I'll move on to a gradual slow down on cake and muffin consumption which will be harder cos I love baking!)

- DON'T eat too late at night/too close to bed time
- TRY to have wholemeal not white

- DRINK WATER
- CUT DOWN on sugar & sweetners
- CUT DOWN on fizzy drinks (& eventually stop drinking them altogether)

Scales
Does anyone know why scales say a different thing when you have them on a carpet and when you have them on wood floor/tiles - or am I the only person who has this problem?!
