Well just came back from the doctors had my pap done and got the rest of my results from all blood test and chest x-rays back. Doctor said blood test all were great but one he needs me to go for more test on. See my thyroid show low on one test and normal on another. So he referring me to see a specialist. As for my chest x-rays well that shows peribronchial thickening on chest. It is mild for right now and it can be turn around he said as long as I don't smoke. He was glad to hear I that I haven't smoke for 10 days now. So it felt good known that my CBC was fined, My A!C levels were fined. I'm healthy he said. I don't need a mammogram until I turn 50. I told him I was eating low carb and he said nothing about it. As for my weight well my weight is pushing on my spine so he said to lose weight would be good for my spine. So I am all done with the doctors for now until I get the referral to the specialist.

So I restarted and been going strong ever since. I been making my own meals this way I know what I am eating. I am feeling positive. I couldn't believe when I step on the doctor scale it read 226.6 not bad you know. I lost 9.4 lbs. I will say the first week was hard but I got though it. I also got though my first week of not smoking. I do feel a lot better. I go back to my doctors on Wednesday for a pap. As for all the test I took already well they wear normal. He said it was all cause due to me smoking. He was glad to hear that I quit. He said I was starting to get mild COPD due to smoking. I am feeling positive about everything. So my plan is to continue on eating low carb and to get below the 200 mark.

Making Changes
I made some huge changes in my life. First change was to lose weight and I am doing that. When I first started back in Oct of 2009 I was 280 pounds and today I weigh 230 lbs. Thats a total of 50 pounds gone. I had plenty of struggles along the way don't get me wrong. It been a tough road. I would hit a plateau and get discouraged at times. But I refuse to give up. I am taking one day at a time. It felt like a roller coaster at times. I was tired of losing weight only to regained it back. It been this way for over an year now. Up and down getting stress over my weight. I had to finally admit that my plan wasn't working anymore. I needed to make changes and that what I did. Yea the weight is coming off slowly but I am doing it with the help of spark people and others who just like me.
Second changes I made was to get my marriage back on track. See me and my hubby were having problems. We hit a road where we were always fighting and screaming at one another. It was real bad for a while. But we got help and work things out and now things are going great. We be marry for 14 years this Aug.
Third changes I made was getting my kids to eat more healthier by making better food choices. For a while they all were very picky eater. At one point I was making meals for them and me and my hubby. It was driving me nuts having to cook that way. Now I make one meal for everyone and they all just eating healthier.
Forth changes I made was walking more. I made a goal to walk over 10000 steps every day and I been doing good with keeping to my goal. I walk about 4 to 5 miles every other day.
Fifth changes I made was changing my eating habits. I been eating low carb and choosing healthier foods. I eat more veggies and berries. I also cut out sugar and anything made with white flour.
Sixth changes I made was to quit smoking. I just started this one as it only been 5 days now since I quit the cigs habit.
Seven changes I am making is my health as I went to the doctors on Monday and he said I am starting to show signs of mild COPD and I have Acid Reflux. I went to him for having shortness of breath and tightening of the chest at times and coughing a lot to the point I just can't stand it. I also can't stand smells of any kind. It so bad I end up throwing up from it. I also go into panic attacks when I get too stress. So I am trying to make changes to my health for the better.
I want to be healthier and stronger. I don't want to die at a young age like my mother did and she died of COPD at the age of 64 back in 2003.
Eight changes I am making is to stop lying to myself and to stop making excuses. I need to stay more accountable for my own actions. I know that I am capable of doing much more. I just need to try harder. I know that I am not perfect and I am not gonna try to be either. I am going to do this for me and me only.Because my kids need me. I want to be a good role model to them and to myself. My husband is being so supportive now cause he sees that I need to do this not to just look good but for my own health. He loves me for me and he tells me I am sexy every single day even when I don't believe him. I am learning to love myself again. I am staying committed and I will reach my goals one day at a time.....
Well these are the changes that I made and plan on making. I thank you for taking the time to read this.
