ok we are doing great in my daughters new eating habits, and tonight I m making the chicken tostados out of this sites recipies! I am boiling the chicken to death lol, in water, cumin, salt, and garlic.. also using the corn tortillas instead of tostados.. let u know!

Ok my daughter is in trouble with her health and we are starting not a diet but a new way of eating FOREVER. She HAS to do this and so do I since we both have the same illness'. We both have porphyria, extremely high triglycerides, and cholesterol, high liver functions, and type 2 diabetes. Along with being overweight, we need to eat low fat, low carb and 1800 calories a day. I need to have a wide range of different foods for ideas for cooking and snacking. Other than the healthy eating, exercise should be a part of our lifestyle changes also. Wish us luck and hope this site is good for us ;)
