All hail the non-scale victory (NSV)!! I have struggled with the scale these past three months when I didn't see a whole lot of movement and I had come to rely on pounds disappearing and numbers. I have been working out, monitoring everything I ate, and keeping to my plan, but the scale just wasn't doing what it should.
This morning. I reached for the measuring tape. In two months, I lost 3-1/2 inches off my waist. 1-1/2 inches off my hips and bust. I wasn't giving myself the credit I deserved.
Don't forget! When the scale isn't budging and you are still doing everything right; grab that measuring tape!! It helps. It brightened my Monday tremendously and will serve as motivation for a month or more ahead until that scale starts moving again!!
Have a good week!

Wow! It has been a long time, but I got back on the wagon, dusted myself off and got back with it. I went on vacation and MADE SMART CHOICES! Yes, I "indulged" a little bit - but I didn't lose sight of the goals I have and the reasons I am here. I have found that I don't need to write everything down anymore, I just need to eat (or not eat!) mindfully. I ensure that I am truly hungry before eating and don't eat just because it is time to eat.
I have learned so much this past year about listening to my body, giving it good fuels to burn, and not putting too much fuel into my body. If only I had access to the information from learned people like Dr. Jason Fung, Dr. Ken Berry, Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt, and others 20 years ago. I never would have ballooned up like I did.
Regardless, I am in control now. I am happy with everything i have accomplished on this journey and I look forward to moving onward and downward.

losing 1.0 lb a week

I did not track what I put in my mouth for the months of November and December and it shows. I also ate foods that I shouldn't and drank too much. I fought a cold and lost.
As with most New Year resolution believers, I have started over. I have re-committed to Keto. I suffered a bit as I re-adapted, but I have been IF for the past three days. It helps. I have also re-committed to the gym and will be going 3-5 days per week. It makes me feel better and tones my flabbiness.
I will also update my profile to my current goals and objectives for 2019. Look at world, here I come! Onward and downward!

My stay at an all inclusive resort in Mexico is showing up on the scale. I did eat/drink off plan, but not too bad. I am back at it and will re-achieve my goal weight in no time!!
