I'm 35 and a father of 2. I was in fantastic shape once upon a time and ran 5 miles a day most days. But I developed severe stress fractures in my shins and had to totally stop. I also started eating really really badly. So I ballooned up from 185 to 285. I tried Atkins several times and I always enjoyed it but I have a lot of problems with the owl rungs. This time I need to stick to it!

Wii Fit users? Questions....
I will also recommend the EA games Wii Active and it's sequel. Wii fit is ok but EA is an actual workout. Resistance band training, card, etc and it will kick your butt Smile

the biggest loser
They eat 1500 calories a day and burn in excess of 6000. They exercise hours and hours with the trainers Mon-Fri (also weekends but what we see on the show is Mon-Fri). They have a controlled food supply, constant attention from nutritionists, are seen daily by physicians and sports medicine people to massage them, wrap them, etc; They have a fully gym, pool, and hot tub at their disposal 24 hours.

If you can have all that, you too can lose weight like that.

The sauce is supposedly not so great Smile. I know on ADDB there's a long thread about it.

how in the world
Too much water can actually cause your cells to explode from osmosis Wink True stuff. They try to equalize the pressure and end up absorbing more water than their membrane can hold. But it takes a LOT of excess water to do that. I personally find myself in the 120-130oz range every day without trying.
