Didn't get to bed until 3:00 a.m., so of course my body wouldn't let me wake up until practically Lunch Time. Since it usually takes me 3 or 4 days to fully recover from such a late night, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to go to bed early tonight! Meanwhile, I am loving the Coconut Sugar: sweeter than the Erythritol -- so I use less & it'll last longer -- and a lower price per ounce at that. There are those pesky 15 calories per teaspoon, but I'll find a way to balance them out somehow. Only one errand to run this afternoon, so I expect I'll make more fat bombs (can hardly wait to use the silicone molds from Daiso -- LOVE THAT PLACE!! -- for only a buck-and-a-half each), as I believe
that
was part of my problem Saturday.

Interestingly, I didn't have much of an appetite today. Or, maybe not so interesting when considered in light of all that I ingested yesterday. Reminds me of when I was a kid: one of my most aggravating -- to my family, at least -- eating habits was not feeling like food the day after feasts like Thanksgiving. Honestly, eating didn't cross my mind, today, for hours at a stretch.
Weird.
And yet, kinda cool. Wonder if that's coming back into my life now.
Ah, but the strawberries a friend brought to the book discussion today were
gigantic!
! And still flavorful: I always thought that only the smaller berries were sweeter.
At any rate, net carbs for today were minus 143, and I think that the next thing I will work on is getting my carb percentages lower. Oh, who am I kidding? I have to "shop" my pantry for the next week (or two), so probably
nothing
will change.

Yup, boatloads of carbs today. My net calories is 201(
not
minus), and I'm not surprised. A late-night hunger led me to that tablespoon of peanut butter, which supplied just enough fat to "get me through," as they say. But that hot chocolate at the coffeehouse, that was a monster amount of carbs! Carbs that I am totally done with, that were definitely my last purchase there. Gonna go with their tea from here on in and oh, if only I could find their menu online!

Got up and made breakfast, using the "low and slow" method of cooking bacon. Twelve minutes later, it was done. The taste and crunch are as good as with the "hot and quick" method, plus it's easier on my little pan.
Met with my yarn-spinning friends at Drip City in Bothell, hence the carb-heavy drink. Next time, I think I'll go for one of their hot teas. Or maybe two of them. :-)

Finally got downtown to Macy's so I could use their scale, and I lost seven-tenths of a pound in the last month. What was most astounding to me was that I lost any weight at all, what with those days I maxxed out on carbs. The best thing I did was, to take a month off from sugar: after the first 2-1/2 weeks (the absolute
worst
cravings, that did not go down without a fight!!), things finally quieted down enough for me to think about something else for a change. It turns out I can live without sugar, which is downright
cool
, especially since I don't have any cravings for chocolate. Being able to track what I eat here on FS has been a tremendous help in identifying what I want to keep doing, and what I want to change. FS ftw!
