I am 42 and recently married. My husband is a bit younger, 30 (lucky girl!) and has more energy than I do. I want to keep up with him and our boys. I have two. They are 10 and six. He he has two, 9 and 7. We have four active boys that are enrolled in soccer.

I am 5ft 4inches tall. I was at 335 (maybe 340) and lost 90lbs and have recently gained weight. I did it by reducing my carb intake and exercising. I Want to lose 60lbs and break that 200 barrier.

I am friendly and welcome any support and new friends.

I Keep Forgettin'!
That's the thing about diets, medications, supplements and such. I think even though we are all essentially the same, we all react differently to the afore-mentioned. That is why one person will swear by Advil and another by Excederin. So I guess this is how low-carb affects me. Thank you for the feedback.

I Keep Forgettin'!
Regarding atkins....

Does anyone know if taking a memory supplement will help. I'm a very sharp thinker and I can make a mental list of items I must not forget at the grocery store for example. I find that even if I only need two things, I forget very easily now. Is this because carbs are brain food?

Homemade Food Logging
I cook. Like it or not my traditional husband expects it and I like doing things for him since he does a lot for me.

Last night I made chicken tenders and baked them over margarine in the oven. I don't know how to log my homemade food. For example, I logged it as Culver Chicken tenders, but I know theirs are fried. Is there a better way?

Any feedback is much appreciated.

My real lifestyle change is Fat to Skinny
I never heard of this. Can you tell me a bit more? also, do you have any tips on getting started? Do you have any surefire convenient meals? e.g. I do an atkins shake in the morning. Convenient and filling. What have you found is the hardest about starting this?
