Friday night, end of Day 3 back on the diet /food plan. I'm feeling pretty low tonight. This is usually normal for me on days 3 and 4, so hoping it will pass by Sunday/Monday. I'm not hungry tonight after pulling weeds for 3 hours and watering very thirsty plants, so am just going to bed.

A nice breakfast this morning of tomatoes, eggs with cheese, bacon and ham...and decaf coffee of course. My best friend made some cabbage rolls and gave me 4 of them. I will try those for lunch today! :)

Breakfast today. A recipe from the book by Maria Emmerich. But my fiancé hates onions and I hate mushrooms (the recipe called for both). So I substituted marinated artichokes and chopped green bell pepper. I was worried it would be awful, but it was great! I will make this again for sure (maybe doubling the egg in it, since it only called for 1 egg for this 2 servings dish.

Well, I made it through day one, whew! Mid day was a bit rough when my fiancé wanted to go to Applebee's and I was trying to figure things out and he was getting a little frustrated that I couldn't just order. But I let him know, that when it is spur of the moment (going out to eat), it may take me some time to figure out what I want to order (or I told him I could just order burger with fries and then stop at the grocery store on the way home and get a half gallon of ice cream and some chocolate and binge and not try to do this any more.) <smile> He calmed down and supported me, so that was nice.
We were both frustrated with some life stuff later on, so instead of making our Dairy Queen jaunt, we both decided to work off our frustrations doing heavy yard work (working on helping our fruit trees).
I was very hungry for dinner, so fixed him left overs (he was hungry), and then fixed myself a little stir fry, which I must say was super delicious!
I'm trying to upload photos sometimes of my food, but haven't yet figured out how to write anything to go with the photo unless I just comment on it. In time, in time.
I was a little over my calorie limit I chose (1460 instead of 1400), and pretty close to my goal of 20 net carbs. If I find I consistently need a bit more than 1400 calories, I will change my daily goal to 1500.
Well, good night friends. Today was successful and I feel good about it. One day at a time.
