I am moved into a new apartment and starting my life over by myself. I feel relieved and feel like I need to make myself the priority. This means eating better, lowering my carb count and walking again. Even though I lost the last 17 pounds very quickly, I am seeing it as a blessing. My appetite is back (thank you God) and I want to take advantage of that by eating food that is good for me. I look forward to taking care of myself.

It's still a very difficult time for me, but the good news is that I am finally eating again. I'm eating a few complex carbs (like whole wheat toast, since my tummy is usually upset the first thing in the morning). I'm also eating more veggies (in salads and soups) and some protein.
Having food in the apartment has been difficult, since the ex doesn't go food shopping and I haven't been in town because of the holidays. I am hoping to be moved out and into my own place by the Inauguration - until then, I have to take it day by day. At some point I will be completely back on Atkins, but I just can't for right now.

The weight loss continues...my partner broke things off last weekend, and it's been an extremely difficult time. I actually have gotten my appetite back, but it's not at the same level as before. I am focused on making sure I do eat something - mostly protein. I need to increase the amount of veggies that I eat.
I am hoping the holidays will continue to awaken my appetite, but am not sure. I just want to feel better.
