Today was a bit more difficult for me as we had a board meeting so there was lots of food around. I didn't have any breakfast so when the gourmet bread and butter came around I was starving. I limited it to one piece though, the salad was very good and so was the dessert. I would have been fine if I would have just had something light for dinner, so even though I wasn't really all that hungry I had about 2 cups of spaghetti, which is really ridiculous because now I'm stuffed. It is so hard for me to learn to not eat by the clock but listen to what my body is telling me instead!

Good Morning All,
It's a good thing I managed to work-out on Saturday, Sunday and Monday because I have a crazy work week. I'm hoping I can catch an early morning walk one day, but it's so cold outside that it's hard to get out of my cozy bed any earlier that I have to!
I'm doing pretty good with the food. 2 homemade breakast burritos this morning, on corn tortillas, with mushrooms, egg beaters, light cheese and salsa. Yummy! I was even able to pass up the doughnuts that went around the office this morning.

Hello All,
Today is my first day and I need lots of help! I'm just getting the hang of how this all works. I'm pretty much doing my own diet. I know what to do, it's just DOING IT, that's the hard part. I went to Whole Foods and got lots of fruits and veggies and I've got some easy good recipes. I'm not going all hard core here, just eat less and move more! I do need to lose about 50 pounds as my doctor just put me on high blood pressue medicine and says I can go off it if I lose 50 pounds, so that's the goal. I did go to the gym today and walked uphill for 30 minutes and then did some weights.
Although my husband does want to go out for Mexican food tonight...
Let me know who needs a buddy, I'm here for you!
