My name is Luke. I've struggled with my weight since I was a teenager. I have a great understanding of health and nutrition but very poor self control when it comes to food. I've struggled for the past few years (at least) with binge eating.

My weight loss strategy is literally just making better decisions. I'm not cutting anything out completely but trying to focus on moderation. I've tried out things like Paleo and Primal but just haven't enjoyed myself at all. I've also previously completed the Couch-To-5k program.

My initial goal is to get below 200 lbs. I haven't been under 200 since my early 20's and I think it would be a huge win for me. Once I've hit this goal I will re-evaluate and set additional goals. Ideally I'd like to be at around 160 lbs but I'd also like to get stronger and build a fair amount of muscle so the actual goal weight may change (or turn into a body fat percentage number instead).

I also have a wife who I love very much and 2 amazing boys to keep me busy. My wife has been very successful so far with her own weight loss so I'm using her as inspiration.
