It has been 8 weeks, and this is not working very well. Open to suggestions, dealing with a high stress job, family members who are now retired, less income, budget tight. Can't walk out side due to the ice and the side walks are not cleared, the city has decided to not continue this as part of their street maintenance. Have a course to start on nutrition and healthy life styles, but I know the information is only as good as you make use of it, so we will see.

Unfortunately I am up a pound this week. Been having alot of pain in my left hip, knee and calf. Cause of this pain? Unknown. I keep telling myself that it is because of age or inactivity. But the weight does not help either. I am stuck, can't seem to get my mind on the right track, like a free willed, undisciplined child, I am running wild with an appetite out of control. I just consumed a whole bag of dark chocolate almonds on the drive home, and now feeling guilty about it. It was not that I needed the chocolate almond, I just had them. I needed some other insight or inspiration! On the next step or minute or hours or day, I cary on.

At TOPS meeting weigh in my weight did not change from last week, so that is a turtle for me. Will continue to make some changes to the mediterranian way of eating, and continue with this weight loss hopefully.

Did better than I had anticipated. So on to the next week. The challenge this week is to eat more vegetables and fruit as part of low calorie menu planning. This is usually no problem for me as I really enjoy all fruit and vegetables. Hope all is going good for the others in my TOPS group.
