Okay... so I blew it last night. I ended up eating 3 muffins, and drinking milk, and eating mac and cheese. I am trying to get back on track, but with lack of groceries, I may have to tweak my diet a little until I have enough money to get Atkins friendly foods. I will be working out like crazy until I can get back on Atkins though. I will still report to you guys, as its easier when you have others to help you keep in check. I want to share a picture with you guys. Its not a great picture, because its on a canvas, and I had to take a picture of the picture, and the lighting sucked... but this is what I looked like in 2000, and I am trying to figure out why people always called me fat! Looking at that pic, compared to now, I was SKINNY!

I was hella skinny back then, so why the hell did I get tormented in high school for being fat? (I graduated in 2003)

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, a few things for today: I went to the doctor this morning.. and the abscess in my thigh is smaller, and looking a lot better... and virtually pain free. The doctor liked how it looked, and after looking at my records, told me I am overdue for a full physical with a pap (EEK!) so I have an appointment set for July 1st... and I am vowing not to weigh in until then, and see how well I do in the month of June. My weight was the same today... 232. I took my measurements last night, and will unhappily report them to all of you, and instead of checking pounds, I will be checking inches every week until July 1st.

The measurements go as follows.

Chest: 40in
Waist:44 1/2
Hips:47
Thighs:28 1/4
Arms:16 1/2

So hopefully we will see improvements on those. I am going to start doing some more leg workouts and arm workouts to go along with the walking, and really work those muscles, and hope that the fat starts coming off.

Now Food wise, I had bacon for breakfast, and am planning on a salad for lunch with zucchini, mushrooms, and tuna. We shall see!

As far as the camping trip this week coming up, I am making a shrimp salad which has 0C.
A tuna salad, an egg salad, we have hot dogs and hamburger... I should make it through just fine!

For lunch I made a yummy "tuna melt"

1 can of tuna, 1/2 cup zucchini, 1/2 cup mushrooms, 2 oz of cream cheese,1 tbsp of mayo and 1/2 oz of shredded motz. I put the veggies in a sauce pan with a drizzle of evoo, then after browning them for a couple minutes, I added the tuna, then the cream cheese, and shredded cheese, and cooked until all everything was melted together... YUM!

Total carbs about 7.5

Well, I am getting a reminder to weigh in... but I am waiting until Thursday when I go to the doctor, because I trust their scale more than mine. I either want to get a digital, or see if I can go weigh in at the clinic instead... I do not like my scale. Hopefully I will see results on Thursday... because I have been doing well this week.

Today, for breakfast I had 3 spears of asparagus, 1/4 cup of mushrooms, 3 eggs, and bacon. Total carbs 3.05

Lunch... I had 2 eggs, bacon, 1/4 cup mushrooms, and 1/4 cup of shredded cheese. Total lunch carbs 2.95

Total for the day so far, 6C

I am going to try to keep my carbs 10 or less today. I am going to be making my camping menu and figuring out what to make to eat next week. We are going to a baby shower for my best friend on Saturday, and its going to be a big beef roast. She knows I am on Atkins, and was nice enough to ask me what I can and cant have, and she is making induction friendly foods for me. I know I will do well, and I will stay away from the cake! If I get my kitchen cleaned today, I am going to make some Atkins friendly foods and freeze them. Some of which I will take out for camping, others that I can just stick in the microwave for lunch. Since we are getting low on food, and don't have money for grocery shopping for another week or so, I am going to make some of the non-Atkins foods for my son and boyfriend, so they have stuff to eat, and I don't find myself cooking so much every day. I am babysitting my friends 7 year old today, which I am not looking forward to, because I have so much to get done, and it will be hard for me to get my workout in with him here... but I will do what I need to do. Even if that means dancing around the kitchen while I get it clean.

I had an AMAZINGLY yummy dinner! I took 6 boneless skinless chicken tenders, 1 cup of chopped cucumbers, and about 1/2 cup of mushrooms and cooked them in a little EVOO... then I took 2 teaspoons of mayo, 2 oz of cream cheese, 1/2 ounce of parmesan cheese, and a splash of water, ground black pepper, and garlic powder all in a food processor and blended together, poured over the chicken and veggies, and cooked until chicken was completely done. YUM! I had 2 of the tenders, with about 2 slices of cucumbers, and about 6 mushroom slices. Total carbs for my serving, about 2.

and if I have a snack at all, it will be a sugar free jello pack.
