I was surprised that I didn't show any weight loss on the scale this week. I followed the plan closely and only ate food alowed. I am feeling good however because my clothes are looser and my friends at work are noticing I am getting thinner. I know we shouldn't depend totally on the scale because disapearing inches is a better measure of success. I will keep doing what I am doing. I am fitting into clothes that were too tight just 3 weeks ago!

still to go: 39.0 lb

It been good this week. Although I've had some cravings. I wanted chocolate! I was able to resist. I am so glad I did because it paid off. I found a buddy here of fatsecret and it's been helpful ... just to know someone who can relate to and give each other support.

I started South Beach on Jan 2,weighing 233 today is the 9th and I weighed in at 223. It has been fairly easy as most diets are to me the first week. Hope I find the support I need to stick this one out. I feel it's easy for me when I see the pounds going down but once it slows down I find excuses to to stop. I don't want to do that any more.
