There isn't much to say. I am going to be 60 next month and I am female. I like to read and write but find both difficult since the stroke in 2013. I have decided to try and lose weight and shape up because the docs tell me I have congestive heart failure. I really would like to stick around another 20 years and then we will re-assess. Right now I suffer from a touch of arthritis and very swollen feet. The weight isn't good for either and my sodium intake is way too high. I also have diabetes, type 2. Lucky me. Of course, I did bring this all on myself. But I am trying to do something about it!

Day Two
Still on track! Very Happy Yeah, with a diet you count the small victories. I know saying you're still on track on day two is kind of silly, but we are talking me here. And I have blueberry pie and muffins in the house! But one must exercise some self-control! So I will resist the siren call and keep a stiff upper lip.


I had a cardiac stress test today. I presume all is well. I'll find out later! See ya!

Just a note really to say hello and that I am glad to be here! If you take the 1000 a day diet challenge then you have my diet. I can't "power exercise" because of my stroke, but I can walk so today is the day I start. I have done this before and it works! Very Happy
