Obviously I fell off the wagon - 3 months later and 20 lbs heavier :-(
Not sure what caused it, I think I kept on telling myself I was still on low carb but nibbled here and there. And then the sorry excuse - "tomorrow is another day". If I don't keep track of everything I eat it is not working.
Well, I hope everyone had a nice holiday season and did not suffer too much.
I went to Germany for two weeks to spend Christmas with my family - escaped the bitter cold here.
Back now and trying to get back on track. Alternatives, alternatives, alternatives. I know plenty of them. But they should not be alternatives, they should be the real thing. How can I reprogram?
Oh well, at least I am at a point where I cut out the carbs again. Now I have to see that I get my cals under control. (yes I know, Keto does not need to count cals - but I do!).

Running into some problems!
Wow, quite some time that I have not been here. I am still living low carb, no change though for some reason I avoid the scale. If I am losing weight it is on a very slow pace since I also have to watch my cal intake. That's only possible if I log my food. Well, ketosis is still around, I can taste it at time *lol*
Here is my problem:
All my life, besides a few months every now and then I have been a meat eater. You may keep anything but give me the meat.
Lately I encountered a resistance to that. Every time I see a piece of meat my thought goes "dead animal" and it spoils the appetite. I don't feel that way with processed meat but obviously I try to avoid that most of the time.
My grocery shopping went completely different this weekend. Knowing how I feel I went for some tofu to have a source of protein. I will fry it and eat saag or kale with it. Still, I am not very versed in living vegetarian AND low carb and am afraid to kick up my carbs too much.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Slowly but surely!
I just seem not to be able to get the hang of logging my food again. So far it works but I don't trust myself too much.
Two weeks ago I was surprised that I was not hungry at all, last week was just craving. Not that I gave in and if it was only low carb food. Nothing else around anyway and I am not going through lengths to get something that does not do me any good.
Well, another week is coming it, let's see how it is going to turn out.

Finally baked the low carb bread. It smelled fantastic, it looks fantastic, now "Brotzeit" - yummy!
