Ok. So seven days of LCRF was up Sunday and week two started yesterday so I decided to do a second weigh in. After the first week of that approach, I have lost 6lbs!! Only exercised once, but I must try and get more in. Trouble is, I've never really liked it so my mind is difficult to persuade. The low carb is really beginning to bite now. I don't seem to have been able to get much over 20g for the last four days with the choices I have been making. I no longer bother tracking green veggies, but I do everything else. Have also been tracking my protein. Feeling a bit flat in the battery department when I stop and think about it and am consciously trying to up my fat intake while keeping a rein on quantity. It can take a few weeks to adjust though and after decades of very high carb and bad eating habits, I'm just digging in and waiting it out. I already sleep so much better, feel less foggy and my teeth are so much less furry overall (tmi?!). I don't think there is one thing I miss from my old WOE. Never ever thought I'd hear myself say that. Will continue to register my Sat weigh in on here, since I started to from the beginning, but will keep second one in my notebook. I have never felt more like I could do this before. Fingers crossed for the future although I feel like this is it this time around. I'm going to do it!! :0D

I'm a little shell shocked truth be told. 5lbs!! I don't recall ever losing so much in one week before and I haven't suffered agonies of hunger; my day was a little disorganised yesterday and I broke into my extra weekly WW points allowance without planning to, but I still had loads of them left at the changeover. I have only been on LCRF for five out of the seven days too. I can feel I am still adjusting, but wow, I am bowled over. I don't anticipate losing big style every week and I certainly don't want to lose so fast I get left with baggy excess skin, but this is truly the best start I have ever had and I am thoroughly encouraged today! Doing little happy dance now. :0D

OMG!! Day six of week one of my diet restart and day four of adhering to the LCRF approach and I am stuffed so full I can barely move!! I have been keeping the cals in check via WW and still have 4 left of my daily allowance, whilst keeping to just above 30 g of carbs for the whole day. I had a faint twinge of hunger very briefly yesterday but I have never enjoyed an eating style so much. In fact I'm struggling to adjust to eating in a completely alien manner to that which most of the dieting industry makes so much money from. It's not the Atkins but it runs along similar lines to that and the Paleo diet. Weigh in on Sat will be interesting although I have begun to feel so much better already for cutting right back on high carb intake so it's worth it for that alone.

So, this is not day one of yet another restart with WW; I actually started on Sat 24th Aug 2013, but it is day one of incorporating the LCRF approach, which is counter to everything I've ever done on a diet before, but is interesting and promising. I'm choosing to use WW so that I can keep a rein on my total daily consumption and am going low carb as it makes great sense on reading the info on it. I'm paying a sub to WW so why not use it? I like their app and am keeping track of carbs separately. Just over the 30 g threshold today, which is amazing and still a point to go on my daily WW allowance. Not hungry. Impressed at mo but will see after a few days and weekly weigh in on Sat!!
