Half of me says 'give up and take a month off'. the other half says that the moment I stop tracking I'll lose a kilo.
so I continue to track.
Saturday here, beautiful day, I will get my laundry on the line and then go visit my sisters. The little one is over from aussie, staying with the big one. I love my fam. Plus we have to figure out what to do with Mum on Sunday. My handsome young man what I created (he's 28 oh my gosh I'm the mother of a six foot 28 yr old) is taking me out for a keto brunch in the morning with his beautiful redheaded wife-to-be and my blue haired daughter. It's always amazing seeing them in a room together as the vibrant colours balance but compete.
Lovely weather, lovely world. Lovely people everywhere. Feeling the joy of it lately.

Okay I'm now officially getting moody.
Not a skerrick lost, despite having the most horriffic squits yesterday from all that cabbage.
Still on 88.1. Clearly I am divine, because I'm capable of defying the laws of physics. I have been nice to my bathroom scales but no more Mrs Nice guy. little sh!ts. I want to see some action or I will threaten death/defenestration.
But on an aside, I no longer really care about carbs at all.... so this is a lifestyle that works for my energy levels and wellbeing even if it isn't making me lighter. I look in the mirror, I watch the wrinkles forming as I become less and less of a person... but the scales refuse to budge. So I know I'm shrinking, I need new clothes. Maybe at some point I can let go of the obsessive need for the scales to agree with me, the way I no longer need the continuous glucose monitor in my arm to stay on keto. Flying better without crutches...

welp this is ridiculous.
I haven't been making my bento box, not enough roughage mebbe? This morning I've gone and bought half a cabbage to snack on at my desk. Just for nibbles when required.
I forgot my meds yesterday, that may have had an impact. who knows.
Too many variables. I had a minute there where I thought "I'll just go get some carbs. blow out my diet, smash it and rebuild and hopefully that'll work'... but then I thought of the two weeks getting off carbs again, and the sugar addiction, and the diabetes, so here I am with a cabbage.
Yay.
