My weight has been a problem since my second pregnancy - which was 25 years ago. I recently recieved a letter from my doctor asking me to make an appointment as my long term blood glucose reading was 6.3%. This came as a complete shock, I thought I had a wheat intolerance. Pre-diabetes had never occured to me.

I have reached a plateau at 142 lbs so many times before, but this time around there is the motivation to push on.

Interests include art (photography/drawing/ceramics/glass fusing) and horse riding. Currently I am managing the renovation of our house alongside volenteering with Riding for the Disabled.
