RDI question pertaining to this
I record my weight, food intake and calories burnt every day since January 1st 2012 in an excel spreadsheet. Based on that data I know that on a 30-day-average I only eat 71% of the calories I burn. I lost 23.2 kg in 210 days. That's an average of 110g per day. It seems to me that this is the optima rate for me to loose weight. Maybe it is also for you.
