After a few days of no movement, this sure feels good! I have been keeping my calories low with one day per week where I increase them (but still not crazy). It seems that I always have a loss after my “big day”. Yesterday was my “big day”... hubby and I got take out and I chose scallops with broccoli on the side. It was a large meal but still within good reason and I enjoyed it so darn much.

It feels like I have been at the same weight forever but it’s only been 3 days since the scale last moved down. I love looking in the mirror and seeing the obvious changes in my face. 20 lbs has really slimmed down my face, neck, and shoulders. I can feel the change in how my pants fit, it’s still not super obvious to see but progress is progress.
It has been so much fun challenging myself to re-create my favorite foods in a healthier way... some have even been tastier in their new form. This week’s fave has been a quiche that I made with cauliflower crust, almond milk, and egg whites.

Nice! Another step closer to my mini-goal of seeing the 170’s by the end of July. I am getting close to the halfway point in my total goal and that tends to be where the losses traditionally slow down fo me. This time I am moving around a lot more and will increase this as I am able.
