Sup Everyone!?

I just wanted to pop in and complain! I think it's time, don't you? hee heeeee heee!

I worked out to Jillian Michaels and I AM SORE, DUDE! I have to tell you though, she wasn't impressing me much! I laughed happily as I bounced thru her program, slightly winded, easily executing all kinds of calisthenics, while she was obviously struggled to keep up WITH ME! I knew what she was doing! I made knowing eye contact with my own audience, as Jillian took unscheduled breaks, prentending to suddenly have an interest in how her 2 assistants were doing throughout the program, when all she had to do was look over her shoulder! I woulda yelled out "Hey! ya'll keeping up back there?!" and then I woulda waited for them to answer or holla back for confirmation! LOL but not her! She had to HIDE the fact that she was sweating profusely and having difficulty talking without gasping for air!

So, as a professional critic, I'd have to give her video an A-. It deserves an A, because it does take you back to memory lane on some very basic moves that you used to do a hundred years ago during P.E. at school! HOWEVER! The minus is because she constantly distracted me by walking around on the set chattering needlessly! She even went so far as to say, "Oh look, I need to stop working and sweating to my own workout so that I can point out to you how high that Mary here in the back row can kick! Wow! Show them, Mary!"

All I have to say about that is; OF COURSE SHE CAN KICK HIGH! THE GIRL IS 7 FEET TALL!

I have been up to NOTHING BUT GOOD TODAY! No, really!

My gym buddy is missing in action! she had the nerve to go on vacation and leave me ALONE to fend for myself! So, I went to the gym BY MYSELF, tried hard to NOT LOOK LIKE A LONER NERD, and worked out for 2 hours!

I need a space to emphasize this point to you people!

I RAN 6 MILES TODAY IN 53 MINUTES! I definitely made my goal of running 4 miles under 40 minutes, and for good measure, I kept going and going and going!

Next, I have to report that I'm switching up my diet. I'm no longer sticking to the Atkins, as I've been adhering to the higher fat, lower carb rule for a bit too long now (1 1/2 years!) vitamins and minerals have gone to the wayside, making supplemental enhancement a necessity! So, after much consideration, I have decided that it's time to reevaluate my diet. I've learned so much from Atkins, how carbs can spiral you out of control once it converts to sugar in your body...so I'm going to be utilizing the best of both diets!

I'm so happy! I did another timed run on Friday and ran 4 miles in 34.4 minutes. I walked briskly for 5 minutes before I began the run, so even if you add that to my final time, I'm still happy about it! My goal is to run 5 miles in 40 minutes. I wonder how long it will take me to accomplish that? I wanted to run last night, but figured I better let my knee rest up, so I went to bowling practice instead.

I made a bad choice yesterday. I accepted a small chocolate chip mint milkshake...and drank it ALL! Not only did I get a very bad stomach ache, ETC (lactose intolerant), but I have the guilt to contend with as well! I keep telling myself LIFE IS SHORT and what's wrong with an ocassional treat, dude!?

So, now that i had the day off yesterday, i'm going to have to hit the gym today! But when you see ME run by, close your mouth! YOU DON'T WANNA EAT MY DUST DO YA?! LOL

All you lil homies need to get off my back about recording my weight! I already told you all that it depresses me to see that SPIKE in the graphy! they need to eliminate the weight graph around here! Who cares, right? hee hee?!

For all you inquiring minds out there, lets just say that all I've gained are rock-hard muscles! Got it?! LOL It just sucks that muscle weighs more than fat! During my hey-days when I weighed 108...I was working out and eating right and all that good stuff...so WHY is it that I'm still doing the same thing, except maybe working out harder than I did back then...no wait! I remember running 8 miles a day back then! I'm barely doing 4 miles a day right now SO hmmmm...I'm not sure why the spike in weight, but it's annoying and it won't go anywhere! It won't budge! It's stuck to me like a bug on a windshield, dude!

One thing I have never done, is get hung up on weighing myself. I know that due to life's ups and downs, and various circumstances, we are bound to fluctuate by as much as 3 pounds on any given day. I know it's not actual fat showing up, but water retention, or on good days when my weight goes down to a blissfully happy level, it's all due to dehydration! LOL

I have a pretty somber, sober, realistic outlook regarding the scale! I already know WE ARE NOT FRIENDS! WE WILL NEVER BE FRIENDS! WE WILL NEVER LIKE OR CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER! WE WILL NEVER AGREE, WE WILL FOREVER DRAW SWORDS AGAINST ONE ANOTHER!
I see some of you CRY buckets of tears over that DASTARDLY scale, and how you've allowed this contraption to decide for you, your mood for the day! Do you think I wanna be like that? Haa haaa! NOPE!

OK...let's get to biz

DIET: I'm doing great, sticking to it 100%

EXERCISE: got a fricken cramp during my run last night, which ended up shutting me down after just 2 miles! I left the gym very upset. :(

TODAY: I'm all cramped up! both legs all night long, even my butt joined in! Well, isn't this just great!? Everybody just join right in there when I shout out Hallelujah! ISN'T THIS GREAT FUN!!??

I weighed in...just for all you "inquiring" minds out there! I weigh...I weigh........LOL
