ugh, I did so well until dinner today. I was stuck working at the hospital all day and we were crazy busy because of the weather so I actually only had the blueberries in the morning and then i didn't eat until 4. I wasn't very hungry because we were all running around and it was pretty intense. I had oatmeal and some turkey when i got home, which was good. My roomate's parents were in town and they wanted to order all of us chinese and come over because the weather was too bad to go out. I tried to pick the healthiest thing on the menu so I got tofu and mixed vegetables. They didn't have brown rice, so I had white but I tried to make it a really small serving, and then I only had one plateful of chinese food and have the rest left in my refrigerator, which I might throw out so I don't eat it tomorrow. I skipped dessert so I felt better about that. Didn't have time to excercise because of the crazy work day, but I am going to try and get 2 sessions in tomorrow.

Today is my first day of actually doing the fat smash diet. I was able to get to the grocery store yesterday after work and busy only the things I am allowed to eat, so I will have no reason to cheat! I'm going to work out today after work, and try to make it every day this week. I am going to weigh myself on Friday and see if I've made any progress. Hopefully I will!

I finally got the book and made out my grocery list, which I am going to get tomorrow....which means my new diet (and hopefully new life!) starts tomorrow! I am nervous, but I think I will be able to do it. The main thing I'm worried about is that I'm a senior in college which means we tend to go out to the bars often. Already next week I am going to a law school function with free drinks, food, and then a silent auction. If anyone has tips for maintaing the diet during stuff like that, feel free to send them my way, otherwise I guess I'll just have to see how strong my will is! I'll have a full 7 days before that happens which will be nice to have under my belt. Tomorrow is a new start:) Happy Valentine's day to everyone as well:)

The snow here is horrible!!!! School wasn't cancelled for us and I think we were the only school in the area to still have classes. I walked all over campus in the snow-so I'm assuming that burns up more calories than just plain walking. I also helped push 2 cars that were stuck in the intersection, so hopefully that was some excercise too! I don't know if I'll be able to get more excercise in today because of the weather, but maybe I'll do some things at home. I have eaten very light today though because I never came home in between classes, so that should help too. Hopefully I can keep it up tonight staying in with the roomies, and for the rest of the week!
