No change in weight. Probably because i chugged a bottle of water while I was at the gym. No biggy. I expect some good changes this week. Adding more mileage to the treadmill and bike. Shoulders are sore from scrubbing that doggone chimney again- so not alot of upper body work today. Let me just say that heat and smoke create a formidable challenge for even steel wool coupled with Easy off. So, using ample amounts of elbow grease (and shoulder), I worked away at it last evening for nearly an hour. And, it rained all night, so I won't know if there were any fruits for that labor until tomorrow when it is finally dry.
The floor trusses are installed, along with the floor boards. The wall panels (interior and exterior) were approved today, so they could be here Thursday. Not entirely sure, though. They are pouring the concrete over the Pex tubing for the front porch today, I believe. A heated front porch will be nice in the winter for all my plants, along with snow-covered boots. =) There is so much work for us to keep doing, and struggling to stay above water, so to speak, is hard. I keep reminding myself that food is fuel, nothing more. That helps to keep the emotional eating at bay. I also discovered that I am easily distracted by and drawn to puzzles. Keeps my evenings occupied so I don't eat, and my daughter loves that I lay on the floor and work through these monster sized puzzles with her. And, I don't eat! YAY! Have a blessed day all!!!! Annie

Way too busy now that the new house is going up. Whew! Stress can undo a person fairly well, without some sort of outlet. So, a blessing in disguise came along last week: A friend of mine asked me to find and join a gym with her. She recently suffered a horrific month long episode of her back going out, and she resolved to strengthen those muscles so it doesn't happen again. And, because we both have back issues, she figured that the two of us going to the gym together would be a win-win situation. So, every weekday morning since May 5, we've been meeting at the gym and exercising. Today is day 7, and my back feels incredibly good for what I've put it through! My stress is under control, and overall, I feel remarkably good. A few spots are a bit sore, as I've begun to use muscles that I had forgotten even existed. =) Grandchild #3 was born on May 4, and he is such a doll! Can't wait to hold him!!! =) My youngest kid turned 11 at the end of April, so we had a birthday party tucked in there also. Yes, I cheated a bit with some cake. But, that's over now. Its about that time to head to the gym, but all is well here, and I shall log in more regularly. Have a blessed day, everyone!!! Annie
