Told myself aww it was raining...when I was in church! No excuses because my challenge starts today. I will run one mile and walk 2-3. I need to learn how to balance my eating better and identify why I am eating. I found myself saying I had to eat fast food because I was on the run. Need to start packing snacks just in case I feel hungry. Here goes everything. 1 mile it is! Hopefully will continue my challenge until I hit 5 miles and then work on speed so I can get involved in all of these 5k runs that everyone is doing.
Update*****So I was able to make it one half mile straight jogging and one half walking briskly. Finished 1 mile in 13.22 but I was staring at my stopwatch before I started my endeavor so I am sure it was under 13. We shall see what happens tomorrow.

lost a pound since yesterday thank the Lord. Lost 10 before starting the challenge so 1 lb feels good in addition to recent loss. Need to find alternative recipes for my ethnic foods like tamales or rice or eliminate them all together. Didn't like my calorie count today, was hoping to maintain 1500 per day. :(

Walked 3 miles in 52 minutes. Getting ready for my challenge to start on Sunday to run one mile. Still looking to do the other 2 miles in walking. Oh boyohboyohboyohboya! Lord give me strength.
