I'm about to turn 57, have been married for 30 yeas, have 4 kids, and 4 grand kids. I am a habitual dieter, what I'm starting to realize is that every time I diet, it inevitably fails, then I'll gain the weight back, only to level off at a higher weight. I fear that if I don't diet I will find that higher weight anyway, so I keep trying.
I'm at a loss for enthusiasm.
I have been obsessed over calories in all my life.
This time I'm removing a few foods that are staples in my life and not pay attention to the calories, well not as much anyway.
My diet, until I determine if it works or not, will consist of no dairy, no bread except for Ezekiel's 4:9 Sprouted grain bread, and only 2 slices a day, and low salt, no nitrates and no preservatives. The idea is clean food, and I've determined that dairy and wheat are inflammatory foods for me, as well as processed foods.
Time will tell.
