I may not be back on here for a couple of days. I am going to the great state of Ohio to take care of my mama for a long weekend before her surgery on Tuesday. For all she's done for me, I love that I am older and well-employed, and can pamper her every now and then. This weekend will be mostly lazy days with some shopping trips and fun dinners peppered in. If I know my mom, she'll want to go yard-hopping Saturday morning... considering she's the only person I go to yard sales with, I am actually looking forward to this.
I will weigh in again on Tuesday morning; hopefully I won't have to be too hard on myself about these next few days...

I had a wonderful date night with my sweetie. We went to a cute little crepe shop in Frankenmuth and had an amazing dinner. I'm sure a smore's crepe was not something I should have eaten for dessert, but I shared, and it was totally worth the calories!

Yesterday was awful. I went to a local tack shop for a new dressage whip. I left without buying anything because I wasn't even acknowledged. The same thing happened in the three clothing stores I walked into. I was beginning to wish I had just gone to Tractor Supply Company like I had been planning; having worked there in the past, I know that sales associates get into some pretty deep trouble when they don't say hi to a customer.
Maybe I'm just invisible to everyone but horses and my husband?
