help
I did South Beach and lost a good amount of weight, but the first two weeks are a killer. I recently gained back some weight and low carb low fat isn't doing it for me, so I'm trying macros this time. It is interesting that it still keeps my calories in the range I need to lose but allows for greater flexibility of food choices. Check out South Beach, it's a moderate carb plan, with the first two weeks being very restrictive. Good luck!

Can someone advise me about eating more fat?
Thank you, tmc64! I love avocado and nuts--it will be a treat to add them to my diet per my macros! I'm a little nervous about this but I'm going to give it a shot.

Can someone advise me about eating more fat?
I weigh 160 now and my normal weight is generally around 135-140 (that is what I am comfortable at and can usually maintain without too much craziness). I generally eat low carb and low fat, but it's not working now. I walk a half-hour daily in and out of my work, and I do a boot camp twice a week and ballet barre class once a week.

Thank you for the good advice. My cholesterol is also really low and it would benefit from some healthy fats...

Can someone advise me about eating more fat?
I'm going to try IIFYM and macros, because my current low fat/low carb regime isn't working and is too hard to stick with. I've been tracking my macros and I'm great on carbs and protein, but I am WAY lower on fat than I should be. I'm kind of panicky about adding fat to my diet. Will it really help me to lose? Any advise is greatly appreciated!

New Start
Good luck! I'm in the same boat. My husband was diagnosed with colon cancer last year and due to stress eating I've gained 20 lbs. I hate it and I'm ready to get rid of it!
