Went to donate blood yesterday. I am anemic again. I thought i was found better on the iron intake. Grrrrr. I made it back to the gym this week. Going to try some Pilates at home to help with the belly. I hd three meals yesterday completely off plan. Today i have a headache! I am getting things done though. Lots of changes in the last year. Starting to settle a bit. Maybe my weight will as well. Today's quote....hear the other side...St Augustine of Hippo...is the other side my hippo back side telling me to get up??? On with the show...

Yesterday I made myself a schedule. This morning I did not follow it. As soon as I say I am doing something it doesn't happen. I am much better off not speaking of anything I plan to do. Perhaps it is my way of supporting my inner defeatist attitude! I haven't entered my food for today yet. I am sure that will be telling. I am working. Staying on task. I have been less distracted lately. I am trying to journal elsewhere as well. perhaps that cleared up my agigtation. I have been better about eating....got busy. took a break! no snacking when I am busy!

Today I saw a patient I hadn't seen in a while and she said it looked like I lost a tone of weight. I could only say really? Because my number still sucks! I didn't say that part. I attempted to sign up for a study regarding diabetes and I was told my bmi was too low! Really? I questioned her hard. She probably thinks I am serious pain. It just seemed rather unbelievable to me considering. I have been trying to eat lots of vegetables and protein. I may actually be limiting my bread intake more than I realize. We had a week of snow days so I didn't get back to the G Y M until Tuesday. I am going to run a 5K with a friend in March. It ends with a beer hydration fundraiser. That'll work. I haven't weighed in a week because while I was unable to leave my house I had hashbrowns and eggs and other fun breakfast food. I am still supposed to be on the losing part of this new lifestyle, but it feels more like maintenance...perhaps longer plateau. I may need to do something drastic like add weights or another cardio activity to stir up some different muscles. Tightening up my food intake may move a mountain or two. I will think about it.

I am going to say I am doing poorly on my diet because my calorie intake is too high. My food choices are better and I think they make my body more efficient, however I think I can get in the same nutrients without as much.
