I am a single mom of 3 boys. I work 3rd shift and sleep when I have time. I am 49yrs old and have a weight problem all my life. I have been Yo Yo dieting for many years, and hoping this is the last time.

NO CARBS!
I did not post my weight when I first joined FS. I did Change that last night so my buddies can see it. I guess I need to post it as everyone so all can see it. I will do that now. Please let me know if it don't work.

NO CARBS reply
Sticking to a card free diet is extremely difficult for the first three days. I did it years ago and seem to get past 2 days this time around. I get very cranky. NOT PRETTY!!! I was able to lose 60lbs before, but after getting pregnant I gained the weight back.
To answer your question, yes you can lose weight very quickly.
In my opinion it is not a healthy way to lose weight because your body needs carbs for energy. I haven't lost any weight for about 2 weeks and wanted to see the scale go down. I only ate eggs for one day and lost 6 pounds. Now tomorrow I have to be very careful what I put in my mouth or that 6lbs will be back fast.
I now eat a healthier and I am losing weight slowly. I don't feel deprived like I did on the carb free diet.

NO CARBS!
I really cut my carbs today. All I have ate in the past 24 hours has been eggs. Haven't really been hungry. Going through some stressfull times. It did pay off when I got on the scale tonight. I'm not going to post my weight again until next week. Lets see if I can keep going down untill then.
I need to go to the gym tomorrow.

Exercising
Joining a gym with a friend has been fun, but I haven't seen any weight loss yet;( I feel thinner and can tell my core is tighting. They say muscle weights more then fat, so I will stick to that story. LOL
