It's a beautiful sunny summer day out today!! I took my 3 month old black lab puppy for a walk last night, and realized that I work alot more muscles trying to keep him from pulling me around than on a regular walk. Which is awesome! I think I will try to make that a daily thing. Last night we walked a mile and Tucker handled it fine and so did I. Maybe someday we will even go farther. I am really looking forward to this weekend. We are having a surprise birthday party for my mom's 70th birthday. It doesn't seem possible. She's in very good health yet, and one of my best friends. We talk daily, and most of the time she keeps me saine. I work with children and she's my adult conversation. Don't get me wrong, sometimes she drives me to the point that I want to bang the phone on the wall, but not very often. I don't think she's ever had a surprise party, so it's gonna be great!!

I have one week to get packed for our family vacation and I'm super excited about that too. Most people I talk to say they couldn't handle spending a week with their siblings families and their parents, but we go to a lake and have boats so I can get away from everyone if I need too, or put the one driving me crazy in a boat and send them out. Lol

For the most part, I'm back on track, but wondering to a certain extent what my RDI should be. Fatsecret has me at 2700 calories, and I've been trying to stay around 1200. I think they are both extremes and maybe I should try somewhere around 1700. Thats what I go with for the next week, and then the week of vacation I'm hoping to just maintain and watch what I eat without tracking absolutely everything.
We will see, I have a game plan if I just stick to it maybe I can even manage a small loss that week.

I've got my head on straight again, the last 3 days have been excellent as far as food goes and I show no signs of stopping now!! I feel great, been sleeping better, although never seems long enough. I want to keep this ball going before I leave on my family vacation in 10 short days!! I'm so excited for vacation, not only because it's vacation, but I get to see my beloved oldest brother that I have not seem for 2 years!! He moved about 24 hours away from me and I can't afford to go out and visit, and he has 4 kids and hasn't been able to afford to come here either. I miss him so much. Getting to spend a whold week with his family and my sisters family and my other brothers family and my mom and dad is awesome!! And of course my own husband and 3 boys also.

Exercise on the other hand I've had a hard time fitting in. I run a daycare out of my home and have about 11 hour days, and my youngest some plays little league and my oldest son helps coach his little league team, and it's just been run, run, run!! I would trade any of it, cause I know it won't be long and the boys will be all grown and I'll want this time back. Seems like just yesterday that my 15 year old was born and he's in high school and driving now. It won't be long and the other 2 will be gone too.
I plan on either getting to the gym tonight or maybe just going to the pool with my boys, depending on the weather, it's supposed to rain today which would be awesome, cause its very dry here.

I'm gonna keep on keepin on, and get this weight off for good!! I CAN DO THIS!!!!!
