I don't understand why I gained - I'm watching what I eat - and I thought I did enough in the exercise department - but somehow I gained a couple pounds.
Maybe I need to change the way I do things - different execises - more instead of less - and maybe change the way I eat and what I am eating - could it be that my body is sabotaging my weight loss or am i?

In September I started on my diet journey. I was on a high that I would actually achieve my goals.
What I did not foresee was the complications that entered my home life and my business life. And I allowed it to derail me off my chosen path.
This is a new year and I would like to say that my journey which is now starting will become a realty ending in sucess. But, I need to learn how to not allow issues at work and home to keep me from succeeding.

Sleep is still the issue for me. I go to bed and fall asleep - but then I wake up around 1 or 1:30 and can't get back to sleep until 4 or 5. When I wake up at 6 to go back to work I'm groggy.

So far this week has been a good week for keeping my points and drinking my water...hopefully I'll see some weight loss when I weigh in on Monday.
Taking that Stress Meditation class is also helping. I'm learning to close my eyes, take deep breaths and empty my mind by counting the breaths that go in and out until I fee tranquil and in control again.
So many mistakes have happened this week and I've been in crisis mode all week long with the guests that it's nice that they mention how wonderful we are in fixing the problems and they don't notice the stress and annoyance. So I guess the meditation is helping.
I'm trying to let go of the little stuff but it's hard because I want everything just so.
