Yes, recipes created using the CookBook can remain private for personal use. After creating a recipe, when you tap Save Recipe, you’ll see the message:

“If you’ve finished creating your recipe, would you like to submit it for publication on fatsecret? Submit Recipe or Later”

Selecting Later saves the recipe for personal use only. You can access it anytime in your CookBook to edit or delete it.

If you choose to Publish, the recipe will be submitted to our team and remains private until it is reviewed and approved, after which it becomes visible to other fatsecret members.

Please note: Not all recipes submitted for review are approved. Recipes with complete steps, accurate ingredients, and high-quality photos are more likely to be approved.
