I just did the silliest thing ever. I got into bed early tonight because Im lacking energy to stay up and do stuff but Im not sleepy when I'm in bed. The issue is that I'm running to bed early so that I can beat out the hunger cravings come late evening. I've been laying in bed for 2.5 hours now and still havent fallen asleep. food is still on my mind. So I got up took my ambien had some water with it then went straight to the fridge as ate a pickle and 3 crutons. I know I have cheated by eating the crutons and the pickle is only a cheat on the time since I can have then just not past 7pm. Now I know I shouldve gotten the water first then taken back into the room to take my medication that way I wouldnt be in the kitchen faced with temptations all around me. I will say that the ambien is already working and im feeling drowsy so Im cursing myself some more for not having better willpower to overcome ingesting 20 calories to satisfy my cravings. I shouldve had a cup of water or got water with lemon then taken my meds and my butt to bed. I truly hope I havent made a catastrophic move by this whim. the scale will tell me the truth tomorrow. Well my drugs are strong and my eyeballs are weak. the ambien is in effect. I must go to sleep now. I cant even proof read this as my eyes are so droopy. goodnight y'all. dear cruton gods and VLCD gods, don't punish me for this minor lapse in judgment... pretty please...

I feel this. I get super hungry at night time too. I like to do bone broth with steamed veggies for the after dinner cravings. It helps me feel like I am still nourishing my body instead of torturing myself. Keep up the good work!

I drink apple cider vinger before bed and it really does curves the appetite.. i usually eat breakfast around 9am. Maybe it could help
