I'm managing one day at a time. Learning how to test my limits and when to pull back at the same time. My last MRI indicated two "subtle" hyper-intensities near my cerebellum, but they weren't enhanced or in MS language, they don't represent active lesions. In fact, there were no active lesions present, which is very good. Although, now they can see the one that caused the damage on T2 a lot better. The specialist feels it looks stable at this point and we're continuing with the medication and another MRI in six months just to confirm nothing is progressing. I am still numb and spastic in both legs (the right being worse), but I've had sensation return to my abdomen and booty (thank god) and my thigh area. Of course, I still use my walker when I'm outside, and I still work out 5 days a week and will be upping my weights from 7lbs to 10 lbs (total of 20lbs) next Friday, and some kettle-bell exercises. All in all - I'm not to shabby. Thank you for asking :-) How are you doing my dear?

With the Botox and every 4 week nerve block shots of steroids for the migraines I’m back to where I was pain wise when I was disabled with it in 1995-96, which is a good thing. Suicide seems less like a light out if a pain filled tunnel cause I’ve BEEN wirse than this! LOL I’ve been at yhe point where EVERY nerve in my head and stomach was screaming at a 10 on the pain scale and wouldn’t stop except maybe to change to a different nerve. So this seems kinda like a vacation. Makes me think I can do WAY more than I really can though. 🤷🏻‍♀️It’s the goddess complex. Like I had before the doctor’s wouldn’t let me go back to work. I keep trying to pack my days full and running out of spoons! 🙇🏻‍♀️( Look up “The spoon theory” on google if you haven’t already!) My neuro is looking for the new magic preventative because the old one doesn’t really woek any more. I’ve developed a tolerance to it, and I’m alergic to the best tolerated of the meds we’ve tried so far...the rescue drugs are grueling on the system at my frequency. I’ve had my 2nd cataract fixed, but developed high pressure, first sign of glaucoma in the first eye. LOL Got my wrist fixed and elbow released for the nerves and had emergency bowel surgery because my intestines wrapped around themselves. Then infected, then herniated. I just had that fixed in December. 🤦🏻‍♀️I’m SO thoroughly DONE with 2017! I want a healthy 2018! LOL 🤪 I’m going to be climbing the walls soon!

Still dropping, I see. Congrats! I am so happy to hear you are making progress health wise. All those "little" things (like a booty with feelings) add up big time! SMP, you have had a heck of a year and are l-o-n-g overdue for some improvement too! I wish us all a better 2018!
