JLThreatful's Journal, 12 November 2017

K so this might accurately represent where I've been at for the last while. I debated on if I should even record this weight because its so disappointing. Couple reasons why I did. We can fluctuate a lot because of lots of different factors: Hydration, water retention in muscles from new workouts, morning time, night time, hormones, so many different aspects that its easy to get discouraged when I start off. Also I have a lot of sugar cravings because I'm not back to where I was with my habits... its amazing how little you struggle once you've changed one habit and then its on to another one.

So 125.6. I made it through only one day of diet recording, but still one. I went to the gym and did a workout on my legs that has to be the most sore my muscles have every been. I made it to my orange theory class all three days in a row. I have not dialed my diet in yet but feel more control coming on. Its a shame to work so hard in the gym and not in the kitchen.

This journal works to keep me somewhat grounded and not lost in all the changes. onward and upward, well downward hopefully.
125.6 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 15.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It doesn't matter what it looks like to others, only you. Be honest with yourself when you record, even if someone may think less of you. They don't matter you do!

JL, the reality you share is an inspiration to me. The subtle changes can sneak up on us and shock us all at once if we aren't practicing consistent awareness. Our body has a rhythm and a regulating mechanism. It's interesting to make notice of it as it occurs and frustrating when it's not what we were hoping for but that is real. I find your sharing this part of reality with us. Thank you so much. There are a lot of folks out there that are anxious about the upcoming holidays. I hope they read your post so they can remember that we do what we do, one meal at a time, cardio to core, one day at a time.
