Katrina121's Journal, 24 October 2017

good morning. As you can probably tell if I know I'm not very good at making journal entries or at talking a whole lot in general. Lol I just felt the need to do this today to reassure people that it is possible to sidestep for a day, or a meal and still stay on track. I got busy yesterday and being a diabetic, a person needs to consistently eat throughout the day at certain times. Well, in all my running yesterday I didn't get lunch until nearly 3:30 and I really made a bad choice in choosing McDonald's. after eating it I remember why I don't go there often anymore as the taste that leaves in your mouth after you've eaten is not desirable at all. Anyway I fudged and had a McChicken sandwich, fries and a caramel frappe to the tune of a whopping I don't remember how many calories! I don't think I'll be making that decision for quite a while again. :-) 2 more pounds came off in spite of that bad choice so I too, will not beat myself up and wish to thank all of you for your continued support. Hugs and laughter to all of you!

You're so right--my weight loss slows down when I DON'T eat. And I agree with you about McDonald's too. Good for you and your attitude--beating yourself up doesn't help and today is a better day :)

When you have been successful at your WoE and are feeling better and losing weight, it is fun to find out that the food you yearned for isn't as good as what you remembered.
