jsfantome's Journal, 20 April 2012

Ok, finally weighing in - not good (not terrible), but back up a few pounds. Been slacking between the hospital week, and recovery at home week - haven't been grocery shopping in days... too much natural peanut butter, for sure! ;)

Oh well - onward and downward! That's all anyone can do. Head back in the game, re-focused on the BEST choices for me - and headed out to the grocery store!

Much Love.

You'll soon get it under control again... It's quite understandable that things slipped a little, with everything that has gone on in the Jsfantome household :-)

You are doing great. If it were me under those circumstances I'd of gained 10.

It's to be expected with the added stress you've had. It's that cortisol thing. As everything settles down and gets back to normal, so will you! Have a restful weekend.

I don't particularly like the rollercoaster 'look' of my blueline history chart, but...whatever! It is what it is! And I am the only one who can change it.

Paula, I think you did just fine. While it would be great to be under these stressful conditions and not gain anything, it may be a bit unrealistic. Even at the best of times, not being able to eat the foods we are accustomed to can send us off track. You are doing great...hugs and lots of love, my friend. Prayers are still being sent heavenward.

Thanks Stef - and everyone! Really, I'm not upset about it - I was just in a hurry typing earlier, and it kinda sounded 'frustrated'...but I am not. Life is happening all around me - some good, some not, but I have 'living' my 'lifestyle' and it's working fine! Still haven't dived into the deep end of a chocolate cake yet!!!
