Welcome to August!

In Alabama, August is Hell. Summer has overstayed her welcome.

Yes, yes, we were so glad to see the warmer weather back in February. After all, that 4 or 5 days of below freezing temperatures we experienced in December and January were just too much. Not to mention what the dry air was doing to our skin. However, now we are ready for the crisper air of Autumn and the sounds of referee whistles and marching bands that come with it. Time for Summer to visit our friends south of the equator so I can go back to walking outside without fear of heat stroke!

But I digress.

So after taking over three weeks to drop from 263 to 260, I have dropped an extra 4 lbs in the last week netting me -7 for the month of July. It is crazy how that works out. I am hoping I can get below 250 before I hit the next wall.

Still not sure if I can get below the 200 lb mark by the end of the year, but I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel of obesity! At least I think that is the light at the end of the tunnel...
256.0 lb Lost so far: 64.0 lb.    Still to go: 76.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
