No point in trying to diet if you're not in the mood. Just enjoy your life Jocko. Maybe you'll want to start again someday. Have a happy Friday 🙂

You don't have to diet, just eat healthy meals and smaller portions. I have breakfast and a meal around four to five in afternoon, and slowly but surely the weight is dropping. Don't get disheartened and don't fixate on dieting, just eat sensibly. I don't exercise either due to my medical problems.

I agree with the three above - no point making yourself suffer and miserable. Get back to your walks and photography and push the whole "diet" thinking out of your head while making sure you eat healthily. You've achieved a lot over the past year or so. Take care!

I agree with Cathdavid, you know what you can eat without putting weight on - and how to take it off if you put a few pounds on. Life is to enjoy, not to suffer.

I agree with all of them. I think you worked so hard towards your goal that now you no longer have it the dieting seems a worthless activity. It isn't and you'll be so disappointed if you went back on all that hard work. Take it easy, be healthy and you'll get your mojo back.

Focus on maintaining but not gaining. As ST said you reached your goal and it has passed. Still record though if you can. Try not to undo what has been done.

I think to me when we use the word "diet" it means .....instant failure!! I now tend to think of it as healthy eating and watching those calories( as there not really the little sods who get in your wardrobe and stitch your clothes tighter 😂 ) xxx

I love the words of wisdom your buddies are sending you. I hear "burnout". Enjoy yourself, Jocko.

Of course the gains are disappointing, and you must be feeling low. But you know you can sort it out, you just need to settle back into being good. It's always difficult after an event you have been aiming for, -I know. When you feel like it, read something encouraging about your diet, if you have any books to do with your chosen way of eating. Another thing I find inspiring, is to listen to podcasts on iTunes. also I have found some on Youtube. I hope you enjoy them, just look up your diet OR the name of someone who advises on your chosen way of eating and see what you find. :)
