GravyBoat's Journal, 15 March 2012

I followed the diet relatively well. One day of eating, but the extra weight came before that day. At one point I had gained over 2.6 lbs for the week, that's now down to 1.4 lbs, but according to calories in and calories out, the weight gain should not have occurred. When someone in the medical profession listens and understands why THAT happens, he or she will finally be on the road to understanding weight and weight gain. Until then, no one really knows how this works. I ate right, I exercised, I put on weight.
217.8 lb Lost so far: 52.2 lb.    Still to go: 18.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 15 March 2012:
255 kcal Fat: 7.00g | Prot: 16.00g | Carb: 32.00g.   Breakfast: orgain. more...
gaining 1.2 lb a week

Weight loss isn't an exact science and many other things factor in to weight loss. Your body is made up of 60% water (approximately), so things like sore muscles from exercise, too much sodium in the food you eat, hormones, medications, sickness, stress, humidity, etc can all effect your bodies water weight throughout the day. So you can have weeks of not eating enough and show a gain, and weeks of overeating and showing a loss. Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight. Your gain wasn't actual fat. Just water sifting in your body. If you stay consistent and keep going, it will eventually go down.
