Well, I made it the full month of January following my plan 100% and lost 8.7 lbs. I already feel better but wish the weight would come off faster. This month I will strive to add consistent exercise. My goal is 10,000 steps as many days as possible. Unfortunately, I will have several distractions that will challenge both my food plan and exercise. I know I have to get past them, because this is how I have to live if I am ever going to lose this weight, keep it off and be healthy. The high fiber/high protein/low calorie approach seems to be working as planned. The sun is out and life is good.
187.7 lb Lost so far: 8.7 lb.    Still to go: 62.7 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

This is really great progress! Congratulations. The weight probably went on slowly, so give your body time to adjust to it coming off. If you do it too fast, I think you have more of a chance of rebounding.
