Sigh... Today is just one of the days where everything is against me when I try to exercise. My dad has this habit of singing the songs that he likes whenever he listens to them. It's alright with me but the problem was that he was singing those songs at the top of his lungs at 5.15am!!! I'm the type that hates being woken up for no reason. Went back to sleep and ignored my alarm that went off at 7am. By the time I woke up, it was already almost 10am and it was too sunny to go to the park to exercise so I decided to go in the evening.

Then when evening came, I went to a nearby park and managed to do about 20 mins of exercise before the dark clouds loomed above, an obvious signal that it was going to rain. OMG!! Feeling somewhat dissatisfied, I went home and decided to do more tomorrow. Then my parents just had to go ahead and eat ice-cream in front of me!! Imagine the tough situation I went through. Sigh... but it's alright. I will restrain myself. Happy to say that I did. Tomorrow's another day.
173.1 lb Lost so far: 9.9 lb.    Still to go: 45.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Living in Michigan does not afford many the opportunity to exercise outside in comfort. So we either bundle up and walk in with icicles hanging from our face (hair, eyelashes, mustache) or we buy a video and exercise to that inside. There are so many opportunities to increase activity. When you shop park at the back of the parking lot. Being the father of 3 daughters (19, 16, and 12) I can not comment on your fathers singing but I am sure I annoy them as well. Good luck and try to have an alternate plan for exercise, you don't want to rob yourself of that chance to burn calories. You are trying too hard to watch what you eat to not take advantage of the calorie burn!! Keep at it!
