Embracing squishiness ... going well!!! Last night I had entertaining dreams. Must have been the influence of buddies talking about body parts they either admired, wanted, or are attempting to make peace with. I dreamt I was "strutting my stuff" and had men drooling over me ... LOL!!! Too funny. Definitely "in my dreams"!!! Though y'all might get a good chuckle out of it.

Yesterday Bob's radiation sessions changed from being focused on his pelvic lymph nodes to his prostate. The tech told him he might get some relief from the nausea and other symptoms he has been having since the sessions, even though they are longer, are much more targeted now. Let's hope so!! He has been so very tired. He pretty much comes home, has a slice of banana bread with a glass of ovaltine and goes to bed. He apologized to me for sleeping so much. Of course I told him not to worry ... I am glad he can go to sleep. Obviously his body needs it. I've been bringing in the wood in the evening for him. With the days being a tad longer it is still light enough outside when I get home that I can bring in wood without falling down and hurting myself!! At least I can do that for him. I know he appreciates it and just think ... I'm burning a few more calories!!

This morning, by special request ... I figure because my breasts are just so very beautiful ... Bonner General Hospital is getting another look at my left breast with the mammogram machine and an ultrasound!! I have to be there at 8:30 am. The rest of the day is another slam dunk with staff meeting and two visits this afternoon. No rest for the wicked this week.

Five things I am grateful for today ...

1. a delicious pot of decaf last night I shared with mom
2. witnessing mom's excitement about her vacation which begins on Friday
3. being strong enough to do things like bring in wood for my hubby
4. the enjoyment of reading fatsecret buddy journals ... laughing, supporting, and sharing
5. one day closer to a long weekend

Have a good one!! Must find more coffee!!! My motor is running in slow gear ... perhaps I can get something done before I have to go to the hospital.

So, were you wearing boots in your stuff-strutting dream? LOL. I am glad your subconscious is proud of your body, squishy bits and all. Have a good day and I hope the mammogram is over quickly!

your hubby needs rest, definitely. it helps to recover from the radiation. for sure he appreciates your help with the wood chore. like you said, it makes you burn more calories, and as long as you don't hurt yourself ;-), it's good exercise! Have a great day!

Yes, good thoughts for the dr visit this morning. Lol about the dream. I also had a dream along similar lines but I couldn't remember it. The dogs sleep with us and they were restless, so I didn't get much sleep and am sucking down coffee too. Have a good day.

Love your 5, and your entire journal. Not so happy that you have to go get your tatas squished, but hey, we all have to do it I guess. Have a great day, and take care of your man (and yourself!!!).

Positive vibes for flashing the flesh this morning. After painting the kitchen yesterday I slept like a log so dreams and the dog wandeing about were totally out for me. Ooh the muscles this morning - it must be good for me if it hurts.
