Mistybenner's Journal, 13 December 2016

Time to get back to me. I didn't make my goal of working out all year but did well enough. I really need to quit smoking and probably will for the new year. Back to logging at least. Hope all my FS buddies are doing well.

You've done it before and you'll do it again if you need to. Smoking is a big thing to stop so all the best with that

As long as you keep it up front in your mind....someday you will want to do it and get it done! It's the hardest thing you'll do ever do even more than losing weight according to my doctor. You are a winner Misty. Warren can bet on it on his next visit to Vegas!

Glad you're back! About the smoking...I agree it is VERY hard. I quit several years ago and I STILL feel like I could pick one up right now and smoke it. Frankly, one of the biggest motivators for ME to not smoke is the cost now. Geesh, they are sooo expensive! Good Luck!

Yes, just think of all the money you will save. I put away my cigarette money for the first 6 months after I quit and bought myself a pair of diamond earring. That was 25 years ago and I am wearing them today! Cigarettes were much cheaper back then, but then so were diamonds! Good luck!

36 hours now no smoking. 12 more and they say nicotine leaves your body. Ok well I just have to make it past 60 days this time. Ugh why did I start again then? Oh well I'm doing it now so that's what matters. Here's to never going back. Cheers.

You nailed what the real problem is, your addiction to nicotine. I think it is that, and breaking habits.
