Very happy with this loss as it included two meals out over the weekend at my local Pizza Hut & at Banyan restaurant in Manchester; I even managed to resist the marvellous sounding cocktails and prosecco...*polishingvirtualhalo* as I type ;)

I may however look for more precise scales to buy in the future as my current ones, although digital, tend to waiver slightly between pounds before settling on final weight....not a big deal I know but it'd be nice to record <1 lb drops (and gains) as I can see others do here.

So, I finished my first 2 week challenge half a stone down, and start my 2nd challenge on the 1st December....same focus on meal planning and recording, with a mini challenge regarding more exercise, which is what I need right now, given I have a nice park less than 300m from me. I have no excuse not to stick to the daily half hour walking I plan to do.

Hope everyone else has got the results they deserve from the past week, and if not, don't worry, it can easily change if we work at it and stay focused/determined! As I constantly remind myself "One day at a time!"

Excellent loss, especially as you had two meals out. I don't know how you managed to resist the lovely drinks with them, but well done! Yes, get some new scales - as a reward for losing 7lbs in two weeks (amazing!).

Did someone out there mention scales. Just hope you buy happy smiley scales. Desperate, Digital Dan ( my new scales) could be heading for scrap heap .. x Well done on a Fab weight loss so far ✔✔✔

Well done, fantastic loss. I have digi scales at home but no level floors so that's always a challenge so use the industrial scales at work then convert to st/lb. To be honest I am putting out the next piece of clothing I want to get into and try that on periodically to see how I'm doing. I'm in my lovely jeans, next is a skirt - I can get into it but I'm not sure if I could sit down without ripping the lining (although a friend of mine deliberately rips the lining in her skirts to make them more comfortable and she's tiny) - then it's another pair of jeans I haven't worn in many years, and so on. It's a lot more fun than standing on scales!

Hey thanks everyone....yes, the choice of sparkling water over prosecco & cocktails wasn't really a difficult one as I was the DD, and as I love driving I'm fine with that. I shall be recording prosecco quaffing nearer to Christmas though (we have a nice little drinks fridge full of it atm) but of course I shall also be factoring it into my calories ;) I'll be comparing digiscales (smiley ones, naturally Mrs M !) and also do like you ST, and have several outfits I used to adore wearing...my wardrobes' contents hold sizes 10 up to 20, such has been the variance of my weight over the past few years. I like to reminisce how I looked and felt wearing the clothes, and this acts as a good incentive for me. Well, into week 3 already....stay strong everyone and keep focused :)
